Hello! my name is Elizabeth Bower and I live with my husband in South Yorkshire, England.  I  have been married for over 60 years, am retired and have a grown up family.

          Following retirement from full-time employment I took up various hobbies.   They included 3D Decoupage, Ceramics, Stamping, Parchment and card Crafts.

          I used video tapes, books and the Internet to teach myself the various techniques, although I did attend classes initially from some work in decoupage and ceramics.

          In March 2000 I had open-heart surgery (my husband had similar surgery in 1991) and we both are members of the Sheffield Open-heart Club.   Initially monies from cards sold have been donated to the Club, for the benefit of patients undergoing open-heart surgery Northern General Hospital, Sheffield. I am now donating to cancer research.  One of our daughters has recently completed treatment for breast cancer and is now in remission.
